Recently, I read about a weird medical practice. In this model, doctors and nurses believe unseen creatures cause disease. To drive out these invisible creatures, they spritz special healing water around the room, they then use it to anoint the patient to protect them. The unseen creatures are ‘microbes,’ the special water is ‘antiseptic.’
When the Mayo Clinic first started in the 1800s, the medical establishment poorly understood and largely disbelieved in microbes. But The Brothers Mayo implemented sterile procedures, giving them much better outcomes than most medical practices.
My point? ‘Macrobes’’ are creatures too big and different to see. It seems silly to the modern mind, but remember that people once laughed at micro-biology too. So, call these ‘macrobes’ what you will, but The Bible calls them ‘demons,’ and they are evil beings that masquerade as beings of light. Throughout time, people around the world have reported the harm caused by these macrobes. In my life, much of medicine has changed, often radically.
