More often than not, illness prevents me from attending church, and when I do go, I’m only kinda there.
I have often wondered how an online church experience might work for shut-ins like me. Or Bible Study, or online group video-chat. Yes, actual church is vital, but what about isolated and homebound people?
Any ideas? A brick and mortar church would livestream, reinforced with a more personal element.
Live streaming would be a must. But there is more to it. The shut in can find video church in many places, but:
They can’t communicate back.
They can’t see the words to songs
They don’t get communion
They don’t get to chat after church
So, I’d like to see the shut in have the benefit of church community.
