There is a big difference between having economic social programs and Ideological Socialism. The answer isn’t in the extremes but in the compromises. People need healthcare. Many can’t get it. I’ve met people in their seventies working long, hard hours, at very menial jobs. They work harder than anyone else I know. They can’t get healthcare.
That isn’t right.
Everyone needs to win in any negotiation or relationship. We need our own hybrid model for needed social programs. Our entire government and culture is a hybrid. We can make this work, the poor aren’t the villains. The power brokers are laughing all the way to the bank. But we can win with a hybrid solution.
But everyone loses in Ideological Socialism.
